Michael Kowsari has joined Lombardi & Donohue LLP as Counsel. He focuses his practice on real estate, commercial, and financial litigation matters. Mr. Kowsari also handles intellectual property matters, including copyright and trademark litigation, as well as trademark prosecution, opposition and cancellation proceedings.
Prior to joining Lombardi & Donohue LLP, Mr. Kowsari practiced law at a large national law firm. He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ronald Lee Gilman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and later to the Honorable Stephen G. Larson of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Kowsari obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (with an emphasis on international relations) and in History from the University of California at Los Angeles, which was earned magna cum laude. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Ohio State University, which was earned with honors. While at law school, Mr. Kowsari was a member of the Ohio State University Law Journal.
Mr. Kowsari is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of California, the Copyright Society of the USA and a member of the Los Angeles Copyright Society.
